as to why you should go to National Convention? Well here
are just some of the reasons that I can think of that can help
you decide.

1. Meet New People
At any
convention or gala such as National Convention, you will
have the opportunity to meet new people. At
National Convention, you can meet hundreds of your
fellow brothers from across the country. You can
develop new personal contacts, new friends and new
acquaintances. Keeping in touch with this people
after convention is also much easier thanks to this era
of facebook and myspace.

2. Get New Ideas
The Leadership Institute
provides an invaluable forum for the sharing of ideas
and even concerns with other chapters. Is your
chapter's rush lacking in some areas, then you have the
chance to get new rush ideas. Do you want to
improve alumni relations, then with the Alumni Relations
Workshop is their for you. The Leadership
Institute covers a plethora of topics and workshops.
You will have new ideas that you can take home and
integrate into your chapter.

Buy new Phi Sigma Pi Stuff
You can buy
shirts and other memorabilia at the Chapter Bazaar, all
adding to your Phi Sigma Pi collection. Prices for
shirts can range from $5.00 to 15.00, and other
merchandise is available.

4. Sell Phi Sigma
Pi Merchandise
Do
you have Phi Sigma Pi Merchandise that you want to sell?
You can sell your chapter T-shirts at the Chapter
Bazaar. Just a few tips though...

Be careful about ordering too much of an item, or else
you will easily end up paying for shirts that are not
bought.

You have to clear the shirts you would like to sell thru
nationals before the convention. More information
about this process is usually included on the Convention
Registration Packet. |

5. Having Fun with
the brotherhood
Poker Tournaments, after
hours dance, and bonding. This is the
quintessential time to bond and have fun with the
brotherhood.
