Phi Sigma Pi Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity was founded on February 14th, 1916, at Central Missouri State University. Founded by three men, Eldo Hendricks, Claude Phillips, and C.H. McClure, Phi Sigma Pi would be a fraternity that would equally stress the three ideals of Scholarship, Leadership, and Fellowship. With that in mind, the three men founded what was then called Phi Sigma Pi Honorary Professional fraternity. In addition to these three men, the very first chapter consisted of ten undergraduate students and other honorary members Fred Thayer, J.A. Leach, R.W. Grinstead, Ray F. Pankins, Wade C. Fowler, Roy G. Bigelow, Arthur Kresse, John A. Doak, Harold Patterson, and Harry Hill. The Fraternity became national in 1921 upon the founding of its second chapter at Bradley University. It would be later become Co-Educational in 1977.
